It was Bill's birthday today, so while Mel and I packed the cases, the kids made him a birthday card each to present at breakfast. Today was always going to be a tiring long day - the bus ride to Delhi took 6 hours and we arrived at 2pm. After lunch in the Hans Hotel (we missed you!), where we had a cake for Bill, we wandered 2 blocks to the Tibetan market to do some much needed souvenir shopping - great fun bartering with the merchants. For dinner we jumped in a tuk tuk and went to a restaurant Ved recommended for a "last supper" of the Adventure Company tour. Again, the kids were in bits by the end, so falling into the soft beds at the Hans Hotel was super nice.
