This morning's sightseeing was fun - the City Palace (Sam loved the armoury with all the weapons) and the Jantar Mantar (observatory, with the largest sun dial in the world). The observatory visit was cut short (much to Mel's delight) as a dust storm erupted and we had to break for the bus to take cover - very exciting. The "pool" at the hotel we were in was no more than a pigeon toilet and Mel & Jill were both not going to let the kids swim in it, so we went for the afternoon to the local 5 star Taj hotel for lunch & a swim - a nice afternoon. Sam & Carrie particularly liked the large Indian chessboard (It's like wizard chess Daddy!). Dinner was fun (after a pointless trip to a temple) - we went to a nice restaurant where theire was folk dancing which everyone enjoyed ( I will spare you the photos of me on the dancefloor!).
